i want to put racing seats in my car, but it has the automatic seatbelt system in it. i want to convert them to manual, like an everyday car. do they make seat belt conversion kits for a 91 intega ls?

I don't think they do. I have heard of guys gettin seat belts out of Canadian Integras. But one thing to consider while doing this is that you have a lifetime warrenty on those seat belts pretty much. So personally I wouldnt swap em unless I was going to like racing seat belts or something. Thats just my 2 cents. Do with it what you want :)

I know of no companies that make conversions. I guess your best guess would be to do what Charly[Horse] suggested and get some out of a Canadian Integra. But if you're going to install racing seats, get a custom harness bar made and put a harness in with it. Or keep the stock auto belts.

Well, if you're putting in racing seats, you need the harness and harness bar, they're a system. Can't have one without the others, I learned this the hard way via an accident two months ago. I didn't heed the advice the senior track members on here gave me and now I'm at the chiropractor 3x a week. I had the 4pt harness with no harness bar and stock seats. I was rear ended and it compacted my spine, just like I was told would happen. Had I listened, I would've smacked my face on the wheel (ouch), but I would've been fine the next day. Instead, my spine is now messed up, possibly forever. With that said, think about getting the whole system installed together. Your spine will thank you. The seats are a little different, but what will your next toy be? Lemme guess, racing harnesses?...........

truthfully you can pull seatbelts from any honda that has manual seatbelts and put them in. there is not removal and direct bolt in on this anyway. you will have to drill a hole, and on the shoulder portion, weld a nut for a bolt to go in through. but if you are fortunate enough, find someone selling the integra manual seatbelt swap, then get it.

i know, i looked it up...that's for the rear seat. if you look closely, you'll see 'center' for center seat belt. i looked because if it was for $50 i was about to snipe it lol

I have been interested in converting to the manual seat belts. Im ny experience with doing usdm/jdm conversions there is a lot that can just be bolted up whether it's visible or not. I found a picture of an stock xsi and the shoulder belt for the driver/passenger is about head level on the b-pillar. Chances are that if you remove that panel you will find the mounting spot with out having to do a lot, maybe just drill the panel. Just my 2 cents though.
