91 integra engines

ok i have been looking around for new motors for my 91 integra ls 2 door. I can not find any motors i looked at jdm's but there all for 94's or above. i was looking at getting a b16b or something close to that. Can u guys please let me know what a good motor to get for my car is i want to spend no more then 1,800

you can definitely find a B18C (GSR) for around that price

Whats wrong with the engine your DA has in it now? Just rebuild that one. Actually any B-series engine can work with your DA. I've seen B16s all the way to K-series engines in them.(of course thats to expensive) But you get my point... A B18a1or just rebuilding your current B engine with new internals will do just fine, then later down the road do an LS v-tec swap. its a reasonable route for a budget build... thats what I'm doing.

b16 swap is pretty common, but i'd go with a b18. where are you from..is emissions going to be an issue?
