91 da a arms disposable?

i was told that after the balljoint in the upper a arm of my da went to shit the entire arm would have to be replaced becuase the balljoint can not be replaced.im looking for any truth into this or someone that has replaced the balljoint in one.i ask becuase i purchased two ingalls adjustable balljoints and if the oe balljoint will damage the arm if attempted to remove it id like to know before hand.

I call bs, you will just need to rent the tool. Check your local advance or whatever parts store you have in OH. I know advance auto rents tools though.
