90-93 40/40 Prop Valve: Does it work for for 94-01?

Hey guys,

As I understood this proportioning valve worked for all models. Today some guy told me that it only worked up until '97, and to use this one in a 98+ it would be more work? Is this true? Any inputs will be appreciated.

I searched and found that both the DC and DA prop valves can be used. But I haven't personally dealt with DC.
