'89 ZC swap

I'll be swapping a ZC into my '89 LS to replace the stock engine (290k) and I have a question.

Will I need a different ECU, or will I be fine with the old ECU and wiring? It's the same year, not the 86-87, but I wanted to ask someone who knows before I order the engine.

yes you can, but your mounts and trans need to be changed, i did this the ZC is a honda engine, unless your ZC is confirmed a acura engine and not a honda integra JDM engine. there are mount kits out there on the internet. the electronics work well with the ZC. find a 87=88 accord and get the 5 speed shift linkage it safes a bunch of time converting the linkage, unless you have an automatic. then just need the honda trans. the honda sawp book does a good job explaining the process. even stock to stock you fell the 20+ H.P. difference.
