86 won't start. Give up?

My 86 LS 3dr (272K miles) may finally be dead. Any advice before I sell it for parts / scrap? Sudden stall while driving (like a light switch). Shop says failed leak-down (waiting for details on how many cylinders). But I wonder if it would have failed a month or more ago, too. Good fuel, spark. Timing belt is fine. I hate to let it go, but it may be time!

I had an ignition switch do that to me. The car would die whenever I went arouund a sharp turn. Did it idle OK when warm?
