First off I want to say thanks for putting up with my all questions lol.
If I put a ls manual trans on my b18a1 do I have to use a ls ecu and vise versa, and I know the drive axles are different but I would like to know what are the differences between the auto and the manual axles? and whats better hydrolic or cable?

cables and linkages stretch over time and require periodic adjustments whereas hydraulic clutches are self adjusting and do not require periodic adjustments but over time the seals wear and they will begin to leak. power and pedal pressure is a function of the pressure plate so it doesn't matter if it is cable or hydraulic. if you get a ys1 from a 94 and up dc itll be an hydraulic clutch and a ys1 from a 90 to 93 da itll have a cable clutch if you swap for a hydro youll need the whole setup and i believe hasport has a complete conversion but im not entirely sure about the ecu. and im pretty sure the splines dont match up on the axles. i feel cable has a better feel tho.
