5 speed cable trans

Is there any other cars that have the s-1 trans that fit in 91 acura 1.8 , or any hondas that have same transmission, want to bolt right up with no other modifications, can't seem to find one around, t, I have a ys1 but don't fit over my clutch seems like the gears are different, thanks, any help would be appreciated greatly

also, what is the difference between ysi tranny and s-1 tranny, thanks

any b-series transmission will bolt up to any b-series engine...

the only thing is the differences in the clutch for the transmission.

the only other transmission choice you really have left is the A1 transmission that comes out of the 90-91 integras. basically an LS transmission.

to use your YS1 whether it be the LS or GSR variant all you really need to do is change the clutch... not really a modification in that sense you just have to match up the clutch with the transmission.

the S1 transmission im assuming is the B16 short geared transmission.... the YS1 comes as either the LS long geared transmission or the GSR short geared transmission....

just google the different gear ratios and you can compare the differences.

thanks, i will have to get the numbers off the transmissoin to figure out if its long geared or short geared...

on the ys1 you wont be able to tell just by looking at the number or even the transmission itself.

if i'm running in 3rd gear on a aspalt oval, would it matter if it was short or long geared....meaning would i have to much rpm with ys1 trans, right now i have s-1 trans that is shot
