k thing is i bought a new cylinder head no problems no warpage nothing, rplaced the gasket with a 3 layer got hot and blew that one in a week. So i bought an aluminum gasket instead and replaced that one torque it down to 25 lb first round then 68 second. I went a little more since i reused the first bolts i bought. Now today for some wierd reason my main relay gave out on me then my fans didnt turn on and my car overheated all within a 2 hour span. And yes i blew another gasket im fed up with this i bought the car cus it had a blown gasket i figured i can fix it no prob thats y i replaced it but since then in little over a month ive gone through 1 cylinder head and 2 gaskets. Im up to my wits end and just want to junk this car. Im tired of fixxing the same problem over and over. So im at a cross road should i buy another engine since i think the block is warped and try to save the ride, or sell it and buy a prelude for 1200 that has a bad knock sensor. Now i love workin on cars but if im just throwing money at it for the same problem i dont see the point,

Any suggestions?

Or you could go purchase a good motor instead of another car with another problem.
Know anyone that wont try to rip me off i kind like to see things first hand or at least trust the person i buy from that garantees a low milage engine

Hmotorsonline is the only one I have seen be talked about.

And just so you know, you want to replace the headstuds anytime they come out, unless you get ARP headstuds. OEM bolts are only meant to be torqued once.

A B16 VTEC swap will mean you will need a new ECU, cluster, and wiring harness as yours does not have the connectors needed for a VTEC engine.

I didnt see any b20's on Hmotors, but you would want a B18B, B18A1,B18B1, or B20. Those would all be drop in.

A b20 swap is a direct bolt in except that some of the intake mani's are too tall to fit and you'll have to bolt a b18 non vtec mani on it.
I don't think there is a b20a(if there is, it's probably the old Prelude motor).
You have a b20b or b20z to choose from.
You're looking at $550 plus shipping for a 96-98 spec and $750 plus shipping for a 99-01 spec. That's the general price range, though you'll find a few on the outskirts of that range here and there. I've been trying to find a good one for a good price lately.

Well i scoped out that website that mirrorimg said and they got two of them and yea its the prelude b20 and they got the 96-98 one and the prices are good and cheap so its not bad but one other question y a b20 over the b18 and the b16's plus why is the price range so low on them?

k did a little research and found out some things and now got some questions if i get a b20 should i get it with the knock sensor or without it,cus i see the ones with the knock sensor i can get more Hp.As to the the one without gets me good Hp but not as much as i can get with the knock sensor. That said im leaning more to the knock sensor one, but how do i rig the car to read the knox sensor or fool the nock sensor if its going into my 92 teg. i know i read it somewhere that you can fool the knock sensor, i just dont know where...

If your car is running hot, then you haven't fixed any problem. You've just left it and the consequences keep recurring. Fix the headgasket properly and fix the overheating problem and their shouldn't be any issues. Reusing and over torquing bolts isn't called "fixing". That's call "rigging"

Have you ever heard the expression "do it right, or do it twice"? It can also be three or four times if you still don't do it right.

Bet you didnt take the head in to resurfaced? If its warped, it will blow the gasket everytime you put one on. Go invest in some new head bolts. Flush your coolant, replace the hoses, radiator cap and thermostat.
