Hey guys..
first and for most, this may be common in the 90's acura... Charging system malfunction.
Would appreciate and help on this one peeps.
When i drive the car, it runs great, until the battery light randomly comes on, and vehicle begins to lose power in engine and also instrument lights, ect DIM out.
the battery in new and holds charge, when positive post to battery is removed while engine is running, still runs!
so telling me that the alternators amp output is good enough to keep the car running. i am confused here...
:???:
when driving the car, it randomly wants to slowly die.
when i am driving and it wants to die, i keep the revs up in neutral and then the problem go's away, but after a little while, maybe 10 or 15 minutes down the road the problem persists.
when i get home, the car is fine, then turn the car off. then a minute later turn it back on and the battery lights comes back on!
Is this a charging system issue or just a faulty alternator? or is something else failing???
Regards
