2003 acura rsx suspension problem

I bought a used rsx that was lowered. I realized who ever lowered it didn do it correctly because when hit a small bump it feels like its a huge bump and is not right. Did they cut the the springs or whatever or what? What do I need to purchase to replace the problem?

The car has been lowered 3" all the way around

Check wat it has?? Like stock shocks nd stock springs heated up maybe?? Coilovers? Get better shoks u know jst look around nd see or update sum piks we could tell u wats up bro...
