hey guys, new to this site, but definitely not new to the forum lifestyle. I reside in Miami,Fl where there are alot of "JDM" people -.- i just call them "fgts" this is my second car as i am 19 yrs old. My previous car was a 1997 1.8 miata with a hardtop, had good times in that car and it was really fun and pretty quick but it started showing its battle damage quite a bit too much. So after the selling the miata i set my mind on getting a gsr. And that's exactly what i did. I picked up the integra on March 11th and i really enjoy the car. Now, i dont plan on wasting a crap load of money, i honestly bought a gsr just for the fact that i know itll be comfortable once done right and reliable. So...now the car: It has a few dings and mismatched paint and what not, but definitely nothing that bothers me because the car is white especially. The car is pretty high mileage at 136k. First thing i did was take off the type r style lip it had, took off clear bumper signals and replaced them with amber oem style ones, and lastly for some reason the car had <97 tailights, but i sourced some all reds and slapped those on. So now it looks like a REAL 2000 gsr.
NOW:
i MUST replace my motor mounts soon, the car rides very uncomfortably, it shakes and jumps and just feels overall sketchy. I bought some ebay ones that seem very good, unfortunately upon inspection i realized i was missing a bolt for the rear motor mount bracket. I have already ordered it with Acura and hopefully i will have it and the motor mounts installed this weekend. After that ill do a tune up, maintenance, compression test, the usual, see how the car runs and go on from there. I'm doing subtle mods, nothing to make my car ridiculously fast, or look f***ing sick. partially because it will get stolen if it does, But mostly because i just plan on having a nice comfortable, reliable, good handling, fun to drive integra.

pics should be up within a few days. just thought i should make a thread first.

UPDATED FIRST POST WITH PICS!

UPDATE

i decided to finally put on my ebay motor mounts. the quality of the mounts and everything seemed pretty good. So, the main mount that i KNEW was bad was my rear motor mount. Which was a real pain to change however, finally got that done. And when we took off the side motor mounts they both seemed fine actually, so i was contemplating on just leaving the OEM ones on. But, i didnt i decided might as well put all the new mounts on. We did the driver side first which was very simple, then move to the passenger side to only have the holes on the new mounts to be way off. they are all flat and at the same level, the last bolt is supposed to dip down quite a bit in order for it to all line up. Frustrated, i just put the oem one back for the pass. side. NOW: how does the car ride? it feels very nice while moving and my tranny feels much better no shaking or moving. But at idle my car shakes like crazy. imagine if i would have put the other mount too. So, im just going to see how long i can bear it until i decided whether or not to put the oem driver mount back on.

UPDATE
oil light came on today, freaked me the fuh out. I got home checked my dipstick....and no oil it was under the two holes. My car is burning massive amounts of oil supposedly my rear bumper is covered in black dots. i put almost 3 qts of oil along with a no smoke/stop leak additive. Showing how low i was on oil. Tune up is coming soon, i have to get rid of the horrible paint on the valve cover, respray and do a tune up and go from there.
