2 Spark Plugs are stuck..

Hello all:

I am knew to this site, and have an acura integra ls (3rd gen 94)

I am trying to change the sparks plugs yet two of them are stuck..
I noticed mangled black rubber pieces in the way what can this be? Would this be the head gasket or something else??

Any help with this would be VERY appreciated..

The black rubber pieces are probably part of the valve cover gasket. Is that the reason why you cant remove the spark plugs? Remove as much of it as you can. If its not the problem, spray the plugs with some penetrating oil and let it sit there. Try to pull em out again and if it still doesnt come out, spray some more penetrant down the tube. Had a sparkplug break off on my professor during lab time. He had to take the head and everything off. If the penetrant doesn't work, dun know what else to tell ya. -Aaorn
