hey u know what i gotta idea! i can send my shift boot to my grandma and have her put red stitching on the boot like the type R, shes really good at sewing, it will save me some money, i just gotta getta pic of the type R boot

you need to put some tape on that shifter though to hold up the boot. i finally did that to mine the other week and was like "shit... why the hell did i wait so long to do this???"

tape is ghetto. put a rubber grommet on the shifter inside the boot to hold it up

you cant see it. why is it ghetto? if you dont have a rubber grommet laying around why waste your time going out and buying one? just use some electrical tape. its all doing the same thing

because it works better! never been much for duct taping or zip tying anything on my car. anything worth doing is worth doing right
