Hey whats up well i just got done with my rebuild b18b but im having problems when im driving normal the check engine light will come on in about 30 minutes and once the check engine light its on it won't let me rev hard it seems like it missfires when i rev hard it gives like a kick and the rev goes to zero and then back to 3 also when the check engine light is on the temp will start going up so i turn the car off and then back on and temp will go back to normal but the light will stay on so i turn the car off and then on and the light its not there anymore but after 4 minutes the light will come on again and do the same thing all over I already try new spark plugs, spark plug cables, dizzy and a map sensor all the fuses are Ok I try to check the code but the check engine light wont flash it just stays there the means the ECU is bad but then why the car runs good and everything? so it keeps doing it idk what else could be.

Looking for my next Teg..
ok so first what year is your car??? 1997 or 2nd gen (90-93)

if it is boosted what ECU are you running & have you taken the car to a tuner ( highly recommended if you are boosting a teg)

3rd and I can only assume that you have the o2 sensor in? check it to make sure it isn't fouled... then again it is my understanding that when running boost most folks bypass it in the ECU programming

A major CEL will cause a limp mode which will limit the rpm. You need to pull the code. Get a code reader or go someplace that can read it. Then fix whatever the code is.

I agree, or you could just keep buying new stuff until you figure it out :p
