Hello fellow members, I recently checked my car and it has code 9 ( obd1)
I read some threads on this website and it said it was the distrubitor. I took it to my friends dad ( mechanic)
and told me there no way it could be the distribitor because my timing is good. it turns on right and stays below 1000 rpm. but then i told him sometimes when its turn on it stays between 1500-2000 rpm. but he still sayed its fine its not the distributor. He then saw my headers and said it might be the o2 sensor because i have dc headers and i do not have that o2 sensor part that the original headers/ manifold has.
So my question is, is Code 9 because the dizzy is mest up or timing off. Or could it be my headers. (o2)
p.s. sorry if i do not make sense. I do not have that much knowlegde and wrote this quick because im desperate and need help. Thank you
