the engine will drop in, you may want to upgrade on your mounts.

but converting from obd0 to obd1(i believe) you will have to get done

ONLY couches pull out!!!!
u could use a obd0 to obd1 conversion harness for 100....then swap the engine harness....which should come with the engine.......drop it in....then roll.

You can drop that into your car using OEM engine mounts. Be sure your mounts are in good condition, that engine makes a whole lot more power than your B18a and will hence torque against the engine mounts alot more. I'd go ahead and spend the money to replace them all, really good idea.

You'll really want a manual tranny to go with that engine, at least a GSR tranny, if not an ITR.

the b18c5 is 0bd2 so you will have to convert it over, i would look into stronger mounts as well, congrats show pics of the progress

i wasn't sure i thought there was an obd1 ITR and an obd2 ITR...
The ITR came out in 1996. 1996-1998 = OBD2A. 99-01 = OBD2B.

He will want to use the engine harness that comes with the ITR motor, as it will already have all the wiring for VTEC. Then all he needs to do is run the wiring to the ecu. Keep the Obd2 dizzy, alternator, starter, etc. All you need to swap over is the ecu, and conversion harness to convert it to the preferred OBD.
