1990 LS Sedan questions

I recentlly bought a 1990 LS sedan with 80,000 miles on it. I've been driving it for a week or so. I've noticed the fuel injectors are extremely loud especially when accelerating. Is there a fix for this? Would new injectors or rebuilds help?
Also, I've noticed the automatic transmission sometimes slips on a 2-3 upshift. The revs flare before 3rd is engaged. Is this a sign of future transmission repairs or ?

Pull your trans dip stick and look at the fluid which should be red. Older fluid will be dark but also smell it and if it stinks or smells burnt....you got a problem....reman or new trans time or overhaul is on the way.

I'm guessing you got some trans problems... and for loud injectors, try either cleaning them out or getting new ones. make sure it's your injectors tho... could just be that you need a lash adjustment
