1990 Integra will not start

My 1990 Integra LS died suddenly (on the freeway going 40mph) and now refuses to start. The battery is new and the engine cranks. The fuel pump is good as you can hear the pump prime the system, I can smell unburnt gas when you crank the motor, and there is fuel on the plugs. When I spray starting fluid in the intake it still doesn't start. There is a spark, but I replaced the rotor, distributor cap, and plugs anyway; and it still doesn't start. I checked the timing belt and it's good and the timing marks line up. However, it acts like the timing is way off, but it doesn't appear to be. Occasionally it tries to start but doesn't "catch" and dies as soon as the starter stops cranking.

If anyone has a suggestion I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Turns out it was the Distributor. The bushing seized and melted the rotor shaft. This caused it to rotate about 90 deg out of time. I'm replacing the distributor assembly now.
