1990 automatic transmission always in drive

went to go start my 1990 acura integra after it sat for a while and i found it was always in drive even though it says park, reverse, or anything els. it seems to be stuck in second or first gear. it indicates gear change but nothing happens and its stuck in drive. any ideas?

theres a couple different sensors on your tranny that are bad or your clutch's have your tranny stuck in drive. is the only thing i can think of

I have a professional service manual for that transmission, and it says that your transmission control unit is bad when you only have 4th gear, (Drive). Give me your email address and I will send you the manual. The troubleshooting issues are around page 40.

Hey call It a day dont waste ur money on a P.O.S auto tran replacement or anything...Do a transmission swap it aint that hard I did it

change it to a stick its not that hard an you will have less problems
