1988 audio system, radio removal

I wanna know the exact wa to take out the stock head unit of an 88. In what order should i start to dismantle the dash? If any at all? Whats holding it in?

Never have gotten a chance to look at a G1, but I sent a PM to our resident G1 expert Graveyardhippie. Im sure he will know.

ok, first go here... http://amanda.blayer.com/clubintegra/89tegshopmanual.pdf .... you'll need it more later i'm sure. then turn to page 20-55. it has a diagram showing where the i believe 2 screws hold it in. but i've found it easier to take out the front part of the center console first. page 20-50. any other problems pm me.

i'd be on here like i used to, but i had to sell the teg, and all i got now is an accord wagon. if i find another i'll be on daily again. but i check pm's pretty often so you can always get me there.

hey thanx hippie. i finally found those two screws at the very back of the entire dash!! haha but i learned alot in the process. thnx again.
