So I've done some research on here and it seems that more people say ill have to roll the fenders with a 16x8 wheel. But id like to get some more opinions. I have a set of 16x8 xxr wheels on the way that I got a good deal on. I was planning on getting a 205/40/16 tire but after reading more it seems like its not going to be a simple bolt on set up. So I'm debating on even buying tires for the rims and just getting something else. I have adjustable coilovers and the offset is 15. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks

the wheels will look stupid if not lowered properly. i can vouch for a dozen other members here and they'll say the same thing. in order to get these to fit and look correctly, you'll have quite a bit of work to do. lower the vehicle, get the right tire, depending on how low you go, you'll need a camber kit. your fenders will need to be rolled (if not, you'll end up messing up your tires and potentially your rims, fender and quarter panels).

I have the same tire size on my car and they fit fine. i would prefer 205/45's instead but after going through 3 sets of tires to figure out what size im actually comfortable with, i'll stick with the 205/40's. Suspension, i'm riding on Tein S-techs with stock struts. lowered about 2" all around and with my fenders rolled. no rubbing issues through daily driving and speed bumps.
