I never really learned in one car lol. I was taught a tiny little bit in each of these cars:

1. integra ls (like 10-15 mins)
2. integra type- r (two hours)
3. 00 civic si (20 mins)
4. mustang gt (one hour) <--- so much torque + heavy footing = curbed, chromed cobra wheels... =[
5. 2006 civic si (my first car and when I finally got the hang and comfort of driving manual)

XR100:lol: I always had the concept down cause I've been riding bikes since I was 12. First drove stick in my friends B18B 93 Civic with no clutch, literally (stalled like a mother). Got better with the LS and after about 2 weeks I had it down like a champ. I was shocked about the difference between bikes and cars. After all the controls are completely different I use my hands to use the clutch and throttle and my foot to shift.

I don't even remember the first car I learned in. It was my sisters no name car, didn't do too bad. I perfected it in my first teggy (RIP).

I cant wait to drive stick, I'm pretty sure I know how to do it properly, I've watched a bunch of videos, now I just need a car to practice in.

Its honestly not hard. Just put in some gas, and let off the clutch. Too fast and you'll spin tires. No big deal really, just dont do it all the time.
