I wouldn't get batteries from there. They are stationed in Hong Kong. Cheap, non-durable product. Ehh, but I'm sure eBay will sell better batteries even though they may be from China too haha.

I don't think you have to solder anything. Just be careful when taking things apart. The parts inside the iPhone breaks easily. Also, take your time putting it back together.

Hmm...you know of any brands in particular I should be looking for? I've never changed a battery in my iPhone, let alone take one part. lol It's intimidating. I don't want to ruin anything.

and start looking at descriptions, location of seller, seller ratings, etc... and taking your chances. Good luck with taking apart an iPhone for the first time. You definitely have to be patient and not lose those damn tiny screws. I swear once they fall into your carpet, they enter some space-time continuum--never to be found again.

Also, you might not always need to go the expensive route for the battery. If the seller has good ratings and description seems legit, then, you can give it a try. After all, we're both waiting for the iPhone 5 next year =D

Also, if you're on 4.0 or later firmware and still on iPhone 3G, your processor is working harder to use those new features that 4.0 or later has, which causes it to lose battery life even quicker lol. I would recommend overclocking your 3g, but that'll kill more battery hahah

I'm not sure what my problem is. lol My phone has died (when plugged in and charging) two nights in a row when I'm on the phone having a conversation. It just dies. If I hang up and let it charge, it'll charge as usual. I assume my battery's shot. It has been a few years. lol Do yooou know what my problem is?

I got the fortunate experience to have to opportunity to view a local collector's exotic car collection at this residence. He had more at another one (M-B CLK-GTR, Pagani Zonda, McLaren F1, etc). Enjoy.

I am NEVER opening up an iPod to fix it again.

Took it apart with a butter knife, replaced the broken headphone jack.. currently super gluing things together. :thumbs up

I spent $5 on the headphone jack from eBay, and $5 on a screen protector, a skin case, an armband to hold it and a keychain.. $10 to fix the iPod, and some super glue I had laying around lol.
