I forgot my window open all day. Now my room is 46 degrees. I'm freezing in bed.
Damn son. I keep my bedroom window open all the time with a fan blowing air in 24/7. It's fifty degree's in here now, but gets colder as winter gets closer. The other day I thought "Hmm, Ill close the window tonight, it will be cold." The next day my room was too warm so I went to put the fan back in the window and it wouldn't turn on. I finally got it going by turning it with a butter knife and I decided i'm never shutting it off again lol.

I dont like to do this... But it makes me uneasy when I see roadkill.. But it makes me terribly sad and empty when I see more than one, of a pet, that looks like someone tossed out their window :(

It also seems that I'm the only one that actually stops to look to see what happened, why are there dead kitties on the side of the road here.. And then everyone gawkes at me as they fly by me on the expressway.. I just dont want someone to run them over.. I know they're already dead, but I just have a high level of respect when it comes down to it.

All these stupid faggots are just rush rush rush, nobody else stops, nobody cares about anything or anyone but themselves. Nobody stops to help someone stranded on the side of the road. No one helped me when my cars broke down, I did it myself. This town is full of selfish people, and I hate it. They make me feel like I'm being too nice, when all I want to do is the better good...

Sorry for the disturbing pictures, I just wanted to share my thoughts and images :( it doesnt look like they were hit from a car.. As they are intact still.. But the farther one hit its head good and bled out :( tossed more than likely at 45+ mph.

That raises a good question. How often does anyone stop to help someone on the side of the road? I'll admit, most of the time I don't. I saw an old guy broke down on the side of the road, so I pulled over and pushed his car to a side street and waited until his help arrived.

That's about the only time I will stop, if it's some 20 year old i'll probably just let them get some exercise. Lol.

With my family, hell no. By myself, quite often actually. I've met a lot of random people that way. Even saved a couple damsels in distress, haha...

True.. But as being the 20 year old, I love to help.. The last person I helped, an older guy who drove into the campus while I was on shift, big time flat, hit a brick in the road or something.. He opened up the trunk, and he had tons of bowling balls! he was a pro bowler and he got a 300 like 7 or 8 times.. I helped him change the tire, and after that he gave me $10 for helping him and told me to buy myself a beer.. haha

and before that, on a rainy day, a guy in a toyota was cut off by some ricer and he smashed into the little car, and messed up his front end and radiator, and there was no shoulder on the road, just a lane from off the freeway, and I told him when the light for my work's school turned green, I'd stay behind his truck with my flashers on while he pushed so no one would ram him while he was pushing.. After that, I asked him if he wanted a beer because I found some at work, and he lolled and said he should be giving me a beer.

Helping out brings some good karma and great experiences and stories. But here in the Silicon Valley, its always rush rush rush, as I said.. Honestly, what is the point? There is none..

Those poor carts :(

I dont stop to help people as much as I'd like to because sometimes i'm just in a rush to get to work, but the few times I have I felt really good and they were very thankful.

I used to go to a Hobby shop and race indoor R/C cars every friday. It was a half hour drive and on the way home, around 12:30 am it was foggy, windy and snowing like crazy. The visability was almost zero. My dad was driving and I was in the passenger seat and infront of us we see headlights just dissapear off the road. We stop when we get closer to the car and see it was half way in a ditch. We make sure the person who was driving was alright. It was a girl who was driving home from her shift at the hospital who had a late shift. She was alright and got out of the car. A few other people stopped and someone hooked their truck up to the car and pulled it out, everyone else was pushing on the bumper. We got the car out, and she was very thankful, just seeing how happy they are changes your whole day.

Another time we stopped it wasnt for the usual. My dad and I were driving downtown on the way home from a hockey game, and we were driving past a corner store. I look and I see someone beating someone up, I told my dad to look at it. We stop the car, get out and the guy starts running away. We chase after the guy, and catch him and call the cops. The cops get their and arrest the guy. The girl who was getting beat up told us what happened and apparently the guy was on the pay phone, and she apparently just asked him how long he'd be because she needed to make a call when he was done and he just went nuts on her. She turned out to be an owner of a sporting good store and said we could each have something for free for helping her. My dad got a pair of running shoes for the marathon he was running the next week, and I got a bag for my snowboard.

Helping someone makes your whole day better, and I hope when I'm in trouble someone stops for me.

This reminds of a time where these two couples saw my ad on craigslist for stock shocks and called me up. We met and I guess the car was low and he wanted to raise it up. He was confident that the shocks would allow his car to go back to stock height. I told him that shocks don't raise your car, your springs do. Then I checked his car and saw he had cheap coilovers. Told him to just lift up his car and twist it. He ended up asking me to go help him and they seemed to need help, so I went. The ring did not want to freaking bulge and it was so hot in the garage. We finished and they kept trying to give me $20 for the help. After a while I took it and a can of squirt and rushed off To go home and change because I had work in 30 mins haha
