so ive been thinking about this for a couple days now just a crazy idea and was wondering has anyone built a biturbo integra? one with a tiny turbo for no lag an then a big ass turbo kicks in for the balls?? would this even be possible? discuss now!!

What's an ass turbo? :D I know nothing about boosted builds, but I know that running 2 turbos, one to spool the other, is common on other vehicles. My immediate thought is that there simply isn't enough room, without some serious work and fabrication. Hopefully somebody with more turbo experience chips in.

Twin Turbo*, probably not cause of the lack of room unless as stated above do some serious fabricating and work, my guess is two small turbos?, 2 small turbos = better then nothing.

Yeah room would be a little issue, seems a little over kill IMO. All a DC or DA needs is around 250whp to be a track beast. (circuit and autocross)

The thought of a Twin Turbo DC though..sounds cool

I see no use in it unless you're going for a major horsepower build- but with a built block and internals you can pull off a bit higher compression to help out on the low-end power.

It would be cool, but a lot of fabrication needed. :thumbs up

I've seen a twin turbo EG with a B18C swap. His power numbers weren't impressive, and could easily been beaten by a single turbo.

There is a guy attempting it on G2IC using the stock setup off a 2JZ. He hasn't finished yet, not sure if he will but I'd like to see it finished.

Honestly, the only reason for anyone to go twin turbo on an integra is for bragging rights.. to be able to say.. hey, my car is a twin turbo.

But realisticly, the same results can be achieved with a single turbo setup for cheaper.

Sorry no pics but If I come across it on the net, I be happy to post up.

What I remember seeing it in person back 7 years ago. He has no A/C and was using a half size aluminum radiator. I think the manifold was a ram horn type that the turbos set on each side of the manifold, remember I saw it about 7 years ago in person so I'm trying my best to remember the details.

Shut up baby, I know it!
a 4 cylinder doesnt generate enough exhaust gas flow to warrant a twin turbo setup, even on 6 cylinders the effectiveness vs a single turbo properly matched to the size of the engine is iffy at best.

haha i know you could get the same results from a single turbo. it would be bad ass to see something like that tho. the lack of room is really the down side to it all. just thought id throw it out there an see what some of you thought about that idea.
