I realigned the front bumper not too long ago and it dragged a little when tow guy was getting it on the flatbed. =( There's a gap now.

You didnt have to get it towed because it locked you out did you? Were the keys inside?

No, you little fucker. lol IT locked ME out! I had the keys in my hand. Haha the remote wouldn't disarm or unlock the doors. I couldn't manually unlock it with the key either. I had to get it towed to work so they could figure it out.

Oh, i am just asking cuz I am a locksmith. Usually on the bimmers the only reason that happens is a dead/really low battery. We have actually had people calling from INSIDE their bimmers saying they cant get OUT. lol

lol How does that happen? From the inside, you can pull the handle twice and it'll manually pop the lock. That's how the guys got mine open. They got in the trunk and used a long stick to hook the door handle and pull it through the ski hole. lol One bloody arm and three techs later, it opened.

The battery in my key died, so I replaced it. Apparently the memory was wiped out after that, so they had to reprogram the key. Works fine now.

Yup. opening bmw's is a bitch. And idk why but some of them when the cars battery dies just wont unlock manually. Have you ever or can you currently open your doors with the key?

I don't know. lol The only time I've tried was when I couldn't unlock it using the button. Never tried it before or after that.
