WTF is this plug?

I was scrubbing my engine bay and noticed this plug dangling around the drivers side by the alternator and comes out if a wire loom under the brake fluid container. What is it? Couldn't find anything it goes to or anything unplugged. Help?!

seems to me like it has to do with the abs/speed sensor or something like that.
it goes in to the fender and winds down around the brakes(cant see since my wheels are in the way)

This is flat out Nuckin Futs! i can only find one end of the plug. hmmmmm,, ill have another go at it in the morning.

i have several plugs that go to no where. there is another one next to one of your O2 ports. im pretty sure both the autos and manuals have the same wiring harness. they probably have something to do with automatic s***. or manual depending on what tranny you currently have. not to mention if the harnesses are prewired for factory accessories or options.

Been ubber busy today so haven't really looked into it. But when I get home in about 20 minutes I'm going to look into it.

I think I figured it out but I could be wrong.
I found my Haynes manual today and found this...


It says it's found on the b18c1 engine. Intake Air Bypass solenoid and vacuum tank is mounted on the underside of the intake manifold. electrical connector is what is hanging around in my engine bay sense my engine isnt equipt with this.

thats weird. i had no clue they came with that. ill have to see if i have that plug chillin in there. are you obd1 or obd2?

Obd1, mine was just hanging. Found it while I was scrubbing the engine bay. Kinda pissed I found it because I quit scrubbing and started searching for something to plug it in to. Lol needless to say the engine bay is half dirty now.

Our intake mani is different on a Gs-R; we special niggas. Our IM has a secondary that opens and makes a beautiful noise with a short RAM. I have a video where you can hear the crossover on my OP for my build thread. You can only really hear it in first since I was streeeeeeeeeeeeeeet racing, but you can kinda get the idea. Most people say their Vtec moved or some shit like it has legs and walks around and shit, but it's just that you can't really hear the Vtec crossover with a short RAM - well, at least I can't really hear it on mine. But I have like six Vtecs
