I did a double major as well. BS Mechanical Engineering and BS Physics with a math minor, then went on and completed my Masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have felt your pain before, so to speak.

I'm a finance major and am probably going to add in accounting at the end. It's just that work load on the 300-400 level classes that gets you.

I did it in an odd sequence as well. I got a BS in Engineering first. Then went back for my masters and satisfied the requirements of the dual degree program for a BS in Physics at the same time. It pretty much sucked, finishing off some 400 level physics classes while working on a MSME.

It'll really just depend on the coruses/money/job, the difference between finance and getting the accounting is literally another semester or two. I wanted to sit for my CPA at some point anyways.

It's similar with the engineering/physics deal. It was only like 6 or 8 extra classes to satisfy the requirements to obtain the physics degree.
