Sub/subs in back cargo cover?

Anyone ever attempt this? I was thinking about getting a couple 8" subs. I don't want anything that's going to rattle my mirrors, just something to give a little more bass with my components. I have the old cargo cover that the previous owner hacked up for 6x9s. Thought about sealing the bottom off to spec and fiberglassing the top where the sub or subs would go.

Anyone ever seen this done or know if it would sound worth a crap??

I have extra covers, I was thinking of putting two 6x9's in it too. If I don't like it, I can always put one of my other ones in

6x9's would sound alright, they are meant to be played with out a box

for the 8s they would sound good only rattle the deck piece all over the place
i say make a small box for each or a nice decent one for both and you would be happier

6x9 sound alright, subs would rattle the deck lid and cargo cover way to much for me. 8" sub do sound good if powered right. On the spare tire for the sub, there are ways to keep your storage, my friend made a false floor to hold the sub and keep the storage, infact it was 8" sub if I'm not mistaking. He has a build thread showing more info on the false floor.

Wow, I finally got a respond that actually had something to do with the thread! Holy batshit!

I'm just looking for a little bass. Nothing crazy. I'm sure the 8" won't rattle the car as bad as the 12" Memphis e3 I had a few months back. I think in all honesty I'm going to find something cheap on eBay. I'm not looking to have the best of the best, just a little more bass that what I don't have now. I've already got something drawn up for the cargo cover. Ideas flying left and right. I've decided I'm only going to go with one 8" sub. It's going to be awhile before I start it. I work 8-12s so days off are rare
