There were different water pumps floating around. Count the teeth on it, I belive the vtec water pump has 22 teeth on the water pump. It will bolt on to your motor, but you won't be able to put your timing belt on. It took me quite some time to realize the water pump for my new motor was a little bit bigger lol.

yea well if the one he dont have dont fit i can just go buy one, just trying to save a buck if possible:oops:

I edited my post and added pictures.

A JDM motor is usually a stock replacement from Japan, they're typically low mileage engines. 40-60k miles on them roughly.
If it is a JDM motor, it's probably a good thing for you, but it would imply the old motor blew up, which might add to the "Not maintained well" theory.

I Seen That thanks that will diffidently be a good reference

Oh Ok well if it is a JDM motor than i shouldn't have much to worry about since it has a new transmission, Ill still look for other signs tho like smoking, liquids where they shouldn't be ect...

Lancaster isn't too terribly far away, couple hourt drive from here in Dayton.
Make sure to check the hatch seals, and check in the spare tire well for any water/rust.

Lol Ive seen some of them already so far my fav is the aluminum wrapping of the roll bars hahah x)

yea ive been to Dayton a few times..

I wouldn't hang up on the little things too much. So long as the motor and transmission are good. Nobody has even questioned the condition of your Jeep lol.

Lol my jeep is in great condition just needs timing adjusted a little bit and thats it it has a strong moter and transmission everything works its all time 4wd, no rust it has a v8 all leather interior which looks really good only one rip on driver side seat its really nice lol

where was the car stored,was it in a garage or in the grass like that? if it was out like that u should triple check for rot
