I took mine off as soon as I got home from buying the car.. Lol.
I replaced it with a small universal antenna from Autzone for the first two days, then I went to Honda and bought the rubber block off plug for ten bucks. I'm good without AM/FM radio, I have an AUX input. 8)

I did the same thing as Army74D suggested. Go to your local Acura/Honda dealer and ask for this part number: 82871-671-000
and if they ask for a specification or something it's a 25mm Grommet. Basically plugs up the antenna hole. After that if you REALLY still want the radio and don't have an iPod or something, get an under the dash antenna* (I had radio here before, I meant antenna!). That way it looks nice and still functions
You can plug in an under the dash antenna anywhere you like, even back behind the trunk pannel like the OEM antenna was. It just won't ever be seen, and you'll have a neat plug where that ugly metal rod used to stick out.
I got the plug for around 3 bucks from my local Acura, the Honda site says around that price too. Army you got ripped off man ahah

That's a sexy Teg :drool:Lots of people replace the OEM antennae with what rexpepper suggested. It's kinder on the eyes and still allows the you to use the radio.

i had the lil pig tail antenna on my da but what u could do is have the antenna at the height u want it and unplug the connector that connects to the lil motor that makes it go up and down and itll stay at that height and radio will work fine :what:

I removed the antenna from mine the other day. I have a plug from Honda over the hole and an antenna that is mounted inside the car on the windshield.
