thanks for the tip, i think i still have some of that aircraft stuff from my last valve cover project.

yeah is gonna take some time & effort but its worth the job.

1. Buy a Bud light six-pack.
2. Apply remover with a brush all over the face of the rim.
3. Let it dry for about 5-10 minutes, you will se the paint start to peel.
4. With a spatula remove all paint. (You gonna have to repeat these 2 steps several times so get a liter or so of remover.)
5. Once paint is all gone, it's time for wet sanding, use 200 or 300 sanding paper.

hitted a dog last weekend, and one of em got completely broken.

so i had to buy a pair 20 bucks lol
