Is the frame bent? they always say its more than it really is. Good thing i know body work and my pops paint. We just take the money and fix them our selfs.

There is no frame damage - the main cost is the airbag, that all comes out to $2100 - plus some other crap & paint totaled $2300...Then LABOR is what killed me...Labor was $1800, so everything was $4100
I am going to call the insurance and see about settling & then buying it back...We will see what happens...

Don't always believe what a quote adjuster says, just use your logic.. Does the engine run? is the suspension firm? Do the tires rub? If you answered yes for all 3 questions, then your car isnt totaled!

sorry, thread was tl;dr lol, but yes, those damn airbags really bite you in the ass. I didnt even have any passengers with me in my accident. I wish there was a switch to turn it off.
