So, on my way to work, I was coming up to a light and some old lady (like 80 years old) crossed over the double yellow and cut out in front of me. I hit her, obviously, only on the rear bumper (passenger side) and on my front bumper (passenger side).... I'll post pics up later... I had it looked at, at Honda and there collision lady said it's totaled! I will get 2 quotes tomorrow for my insurance. I'm so depressed!!

I would hope so seeing as she went over the lines. Then again, there is often a clause in the law where if you're the person with the last option to act to prevent the crash you can be at fault. Depends on where you are though.

I spoke with the Police Officer who arrived at the scene & he said that she is at fault, not me. I have Full Coverage on her, obviously lol ... so we will see what happens... I am going to get a quote from United Collision & then let my insurance handle it. I'm just debating what I'm gonna do if they total her out...I don't want a salvage titled car... even tho I LOVE her

Because of the year, 1994, and the damages & the passenger airbag deployed the insurance told me its probably going to be considering a total loss ~ GHEY!

no that wont total it out actually so your safe. cuz mine was worse and mine is 180k 1994 and my damage totaled only 1300 with new fender, bumper cover, headlights, and custom paint so dont worry bro. but i feel your pain

they ordered a new front end.(nothing was bent)

Well, the lady @ Honda, she was off the clock but is the one who handles the quotes said that she will write up a quote tomorrow & its totaled. BUT I am hoping not because I LOVE my car...

I just got my taxes on my car. Its valued at like... $2200. I lol'd when I saw it, but in reality, the year/miles determines what an insurance company values the car at, not what you personally think its worth.
