does anybody in texas know if you can do defensive driving to lower the price or how not to make my insurance skyrocket
My guess is that he was on the highway. If you do the speed limit on the interstate in Texas you'll get run over by an 18 wheeler. Houston was nuts in that respect.why were you doing 25 over.
If he does one of the options I listed above he doesn't even have to talk to the DA's office. He'll call the court and the clerk will handle it all for him. Texas really just wants their money.talk to the prosecuter.... the court just wants the money. Plea out to whatever has 0 points( its worth it in the long run) More than likely going to cost you $500-$600, and pay it up that day! I know its hard to do, but all in all it avoids so much stressssss in the long run which can last 1-4 years or so. Every route from this point is going to cost you. Its just if you get it done now, or over time and end up paying way more somehow/someway. Ive been through/ or seen many cases like this and figured this was the cheapest route. (by the way...Ive eaten x2 "80 in a 50mph" tickets in 6 days!) Some officers depending on time of month lol, tend to trump up tickets here in jersey!
That's Texas. lolDamn!.... doesnt even have to go to court and whatnot? wow.
thats different.
False.Get a radar detector, it's like a 400 dollar investment for a good one, but I guess it's worth it if it saves you from even one ticket. They're legal in all 50 states I'm pretty sure, but you should double check that. As for right now, just pay the ticket I guess.
A tip when speeding on roads where cops can be hidden is slow down everytime you see one of those No U-Turn signs on the interstate 'cause cops are usually hiding behind trees there (at least in the Northeast).
My bad, I guess you should probably look it up before getting one. I thought they were legal.False.
