I find it to be a very versatile word. I grew up playing hockey, we said fuck, called people shit show, and said eh nearly as often as we took breaths. Mind you, there was a place and time for it.
Frankly, in today's world you're not going to avoid the word fuck for more than a few hours unless you live in a monastery or convent.
Personally, I use it often because it's a vivid word that gets peoples attention and accentuates a given point. This however, does not work when every third word you say is "fuck".

Edit: If the mods/Admin start censoring posts for the word fuck or they adopt a "thumper rule", I'm throwing in the towel. Not that they'd care.
I already made it through kindergarten, I don't need someone trying to make me be nice.

do what now?
In todays point in time we are exposed to sex, cursing, drugs through television. And I don't not mean hbo, or payper view channels either.

I won't support a word censor feature on this site, and I highly doubt it's ever been considered.

That's good to know.
I think that this sort of thing polices itself. When people use the word once it a while, it makes a point. When someone uses it in every sentence no one takes them seriously, and eventually they leave because no one gives any concern to their comments.

We have seen this happen before.

when i see f every other word i imagine some shack that is painted poorly with a wooden screen door that slaps hard and loud when it shuts(and hangs to the side just barely) with a kid inside wearing clothes so big that he has to keep adjusting them (but hes so cool because of them) typing away on the interweb trying to sound "fly"
you've been to culpeper???? lmao but really its not polite but at the same time is it something to really get worked up about? I feel a little less respect for myself to even be commenting on the matter lol and its not always derogatory ya know? And for those of you who think that cursing constitutes one being ignorant or having a small vocabulary, wouldnt someone who doesnt cuss be holding back their potential to expand ones own vocabulary? thats right I just blew your mind

i just think it gives someone who uses it excessively a bad reputation. i think well of people who can settle fights without cursing however i don't blame them for it i just see more maturity in not using it.

Well where do you hear these words the most at? I hear them all the time on Xbox Live and mostly around older adults (40s and older). It all depends on where these people hang out at whether it is the bar, school, or online. You can not stop people from using vulgar language because it is everywhere. If you were to filter these words then others may want other words to censored/removed all together such as gay, fat, ugly, slut etc. Maturity is the answer to the usage of these words. When one is mature they know the time and place to use such language. Dun dun dun!
