I changed my clutch last weekend and when I got home, I realized I should have posted pics of the damage. I popped a rivet or whatever in my clutch plate and left the spring useless.
I figure some parts may make us laugh, some cry, and some will make us say, "Wtf were you doing!" :lol:

i got one, here is my short shifter that was installed on my car when I bought it. I threw the actually shifter away but here are the threads I had to pull from my shift knob.


Year:1995
Mileage:113xxx
Why it broke: short shifter poorly made
What the symptoms were: no shift knob could go on the shifter.
What damage did it do when it broke: It broke into two pieces and the bearings fell out..
Miscellaneous: as a temp replacement I used a jack in the box antenna head as my shift knob.

my ball joint broke, causing it to mess up my fender and seperate my inner CV joint on the drivers side. dont have any pics with me and its cold outside, i fixed most of the damage to the fender, still have the broken joint and cv boot in my garage somewhere

Why it broke: Pallet on highway, hit at 75mph
What the symptoms were: fine untill i hit that thing
What damage did it do when it broke:shattered wheel, busted tire, dented fender and busted lining.
Miscellaneous: towed car home in fear of suspension damage. I actually did this about 2 yrs or so ago.

I almost did. a peice of wood was actually pulled out of that hole. It was lodged in the wheel and into my strut tower causing the wheel to lock up. At 75mph and one locked wheel I can tell you my stomach was in my ass. My gf at the time was with me and it wasnt a good situation.
