I never said anything negative about your religion, just to keep it to yourself. I personally have never told somebody that they were idiotic. Now, when you declare your religion to me typical response is "that's cool" and subject is changed.
Now, my arguement. Why do you need people to know what religion you are? That's private info, and you have a place to go hang out with other people that are into it. So why do certain religions need to keep branching out and get involved with everything? If anybody asked me what religion I am, I wouldn't respond.
Just quote any thread where I talked down on your religion if you disagree.

By using the word "believers" you are completely ruining your arguement. People have their own beliefs, and not always the same as yours. So if they are not Christian that must make them non-believers, and I can see them taking that as an insult.
Have you ever tried looking at it from the other side? I really don't want CI to become a site that looks like it's strictly Christian either.

Why do you need to know who the non-believers are? Is that all this thread is for, if so it can be closed? I thought it was to share common christian interests. Already I feel shunned because apparently their are still people who think that Catholics are not christians. Might I remind you all that Catholicism was the first organized christian religion. Without it, there would be No protestant religions, there would be no Holidays, such as Halloween, Christmas, St Patrick's Day, Valentines Day, etc, and christianity would not have spread throughout the globe like it did if it was not for Catholicism and the holy wars, who knows, without it you might all have ended up being Jewish or Muslim. Christianity means Christ Like, If you believe in Christ as your savior your are Christian, nothing else matters.

You are completely true 100% people have there own beliefs. They can believe anything they want, Its up to them. I have nothing against the non believers. They do what they want. We are all just normal people. The whole reason why Jim made this thread was to see see who believes. Not to force people into something.
As i stated before im not considering this an argument. We are just simply talking about things.

i'm not going to read everything that was posted but the whole hypocrisy isn't quite explained... in the bible if you ask for forgiveness you receive it... just because i have pre marital sex doesnt make me hell bound.
i don't see a point in arguing over religion to each his own just like your cars... everyone has their opinions but you have to let some things roll off your back

have you heard of the flying spaghetti monster religion.. it's a real religion... and it makes me sad to think there are some people out there who worship clouds who form to look like this non living "entity" and whenever they see any shape or object that portrays the image of the spaghetti monster or whatever they worship and give thanks over it.

Or would it be better to not think about religion and just be a decent person my whole life? I am usually pretty friendly to most people, even the dicks that pretend to know everything about something and everything they tell me is wrong. You've met one at a car meet.....
