im just posting to throw my self out there to people willing to give advice and suggestions. i currently dont have a car because of the fact that i am deploying soon.
im here because i have extreme interest in integras since i was.... well since i first saw one.
if anybody is willing, im happy and open to receiving info on which car to buy when i come back from my deployment.
i am trying to start a project car that i can call my own. my buddy has an mr2 that i hope to spend som time learning and workin on until im am up to par with engine and body work to be able to go on my own to bigger and better things.
Basically im saying i need advice on whether an integra is a suitable for project car newbie

Welcome! Good luck with your tour. Integras have a wealth of parts available both oem and aftermarket which makes it suitable for project cars. Also the ability to swap engines amongst different models is Great too. Definitely a good car to spend some time with!

i had my parents pick up my integra while i was still in afghanistan. they are great cars to learn on and have hundreds of options for modifying. good luck with your deployment and keep ur head down

As for Integra's, get one! They are a great car to work on. In my opinion it's one of the easiest things to learn about, partially due to the large crowd that follows them and customizes them. It's a fun hobby. You'll love it!

thanks for your replies. all the questions i have r basic stuff i would think like. wat kind of integra would i b looking for and what in it should i look for to determine that it is the right one. whats the difference in each type. i have no idea wat DA and DC mean. i want to buy one that is plain plain stock so i can start from the ground up.

whichever integra you like it the right one for you

da or da9 refers to the styles from the years 90-93 (Also can get a gsr in these years but its kinda rare.)

DC2 refers to the years of the GSR from 94-01

DC4 refers to an integra without vtec. 94-01

This is what the years of 94-01 look like. slight difference in bumpers in these years.

Knowing that you don't know what some of these mean. I would re search more into what your planning on doing, before jumping the gun. Google is our friend or even search here im sure there is a thread that will help you.
