yeah itll be quick. K swaps are fun and look fairly easy I think you just have to replace the passenger side upper trans mount and knotch the subframe. Does it still have the stock b17 in it?

Nahhh the original owner was an older woman who starved it on oil and it blew. The guy that my buddy bought it from swapped in a B16A and sold it to him and then I bought it. The guy I bought it from also has a '92 GS-R almost identical to mine except for the year and it has the B17.

I actually took some pictures this time. Yeah forreal I did. :)

I had a late start (around 3:30pm) because I was spending time with the fiance but I did find some time to work after she went to work.

To do list:
-fix fog lights (not entirely sure what's wrong)
-bumper alignment
-hood latch fitment

In the end I only fixed the hood latch. Oh well, onto the pictures.

DO WORK SON!

This is the huge garage my dad was hogging and wouldn't let me use until he was done.

Making better connections for my fog light wires. Still trying to figure out why they wont work. It may be my fog mod that I did with the defroster switch.

Ahh yeah.

Finally able to pull her into the garage.

The Suzuki.

Ugly ass blue bumper.

I had it held on with two screw drivers so that I could try to pull it as far as I could over and away from the driver side head light. No luck.

you can see the gap on the left side and how tight it is up against the driver side light.

Next weekend should be painting. We'll see.

Whats up with the poor fitment? I figure its because of the accident, but do you know whats bent?

I'm guessing something is bent. It's only off by about an inch though and nothing "looks" bent. Something is off by just a little bit and it's throwing the whole bumper out of alignment.

Completely unrelated to this build but I sold my 96 GS-R and picked up a 95 4Runner. Pics to follow. It's too dark outside now.

So uh, next up after paint is a lip/sides/rear visor. More than likely it'll just be lip and rear visor. And I'm also tossing around the idea of a EDM rear fog light. And side markers. I'm scattered brained.

I've literally done no research into JDM fenders with the hole already cut. I have to replace the passenger side fender anyway. Might as well do both and put sidemarkers in. I saw some on PW:JDM for around $235 and shipping from Cali to VA was retarded (~$125). Yeah that's not cool for my budget. Know where I can get them cheaper? Let me know.

Also if you have JDM one pieces that have been painted on the inside, PM me. I'm too lazy to do it myself. Sell them to meh. :)

PAINT THIS SATURDAYYYYY!
