those vids on my youtube were shot using my iPhone 4, and with only me in the car, so no help from passengers. What I did was open the sunroof, when its open there is a tiny ledge that the phone fits in on the roof that keeps it vertical, then I would just hold it in place with my hand, therefore I had to shift and steer with one hand lol...
