Gas Mileage

50k miles on a JDM B18C (Sir-G) in my 96 Gs-R and I average 27MPG with mixed driving. I take the highway to work every day and zoom around 80MPH (4k rpm) and when I reach the city and drive in traffic, I cruise at the speed limit and usually shift around 2800rpm.

i almost get half a tank with 10 bucks gas here in TX is about 2.50 but considering my gas milage i get about 120-160 miles half tank but thats city and highway combines with 89 octane theres no need premium when you got shell in your tank

My 1992 GSR gets 350-400 on a tank that is 13.2 gallons I believe, and I never run it down below a gallon before I fill up, so that is somewhere around 30mpg on average. I have done quite a bit to enhance my mileage on it though. I think they are normally rated for the high 20s. I use 93 octane.

sorry monkeytec, but that is definitely way low, something must not be right. I am almost doubling your mileage with the same car.

It's funny. I fill up with chevron and I get 25 to 26 mpg. then I fill up to next tank with shell and I get 29 to 30 mpg.
