well here is the story i was at my friends house when his friend pulled up thinking he was all cool cuz he got a 2009 jetta stock he saw my teg and started laughing at me well he sayed that my teg ls had nothing on his jetta i look and laugh and sayed we will c well long story short he had 2 go home cuz he sayed his mom was calling when we were about 2 race i wanted to know do u think i would of beat him or do u think he would of won me

Plus what kind of jetta is it.... VR6 will beat you all over the road... if its just a plain gl... it might be close... they have like 3 different motors in them.... need more specifics on his car.

well mine is a 5spd and has intake its lowerd exhaust his car is a gl auto stock

lol, for sure. Trust me I know. My Jetta will give "you got beat" a new definition.

Those new Jetta's with the POS 2.5 liter 5cyl are pure junk. I don't know if they compare to a LS, but they sure suck in VW terms. If the guy knows how to brake-gas (preload) his automatic for the launch, it will be a good race. But if he's a numbnuts, you should be able to take him out.

Auto Jettas are slow... been there had that.. lol. You should win unless you suck at shifting. Plus the only car you would really want to launch thats an auto is something that won't spin out. (maybe like an awd tsi 8))
