DB8 vs. Corvette C5

Yesterday, I was driving along is road on my way to my uncle's house. I was cruising about 50mph in 5th gear minding my own business. All of a sudden, I see this blue C5 coming up fast from behind. He was probably going around 65-70mph. I figured he'd overtake me, but he didn't. Instead, he decided to tailgate me. Why? I had no clue. There were no others cars around and it made me pissed off. So I decided to drop in to 3rd and gunned it. Of course the C5 had no problem keeping up with me. When I gunned it, we were going straight on an uphill. He kept right on my ass until we started going downhill, which had many high speed corners. Before we hit the first right hand corner, he merged to the lane next to me on the right and gunned it. Before we got to the braking zone, he was always slamming on his brakes. I was like, "Why is he braking so early?" So I just flew right passed him and hugged the corner like a rollercoaster. One we got to the second corner, he was already started to lose ground. Then by the third corner, I was long gone. When we finally hit a stop light, he rolled down his window and said, "Your car handles great." I replied, "Thanks, your C5 is mad fast." Then he said, "No so much in the corners though." Then we gave each other a thumbs up and parted. It was a good run.

Thanks guys. It was pretty exhilarating. There's nothing like pushing your car to the limit, especially when your ride is underpowered. I have to say that I was pretty scared. The road wasn't exactly smooth as butter. There were a bunch of gaps that made the DB8 upset. Which would definitely upset an FR more. I think I need to get a bucket set. Holding my entier body with my left leg is gets a little exhausting in the corners.

^while i do agree with you, its still quite an accomplishment for an integra to hold off a c5. no matter what the circumstances...
