Don't buy ebay or Quantaray ones. They take off so much from the quality of the picture.

I have the SunPak one and Quantaray and I have 1 Canon filter. The Canon filter is much nicer and sharper.

Edit: Omi is right don't buy those Sepia, Red, Blue, Flare, etc. filters. They destroy picture quality.

Yeah I think the SunPak one is better than my Quantaray ones. Oh well I got all of my filters for free! :lol:

I'm planning on picking up a back pack next pay check :D.

50mm F1.8 came with my camera when i bought it 8) ... jeeze if you came on VAphotographers more often you'd know that :lol: :p

got the circular polarizer today... havent gotten a chance to try it out, but I did get home and played with the aperture..
messed with ISO... didnt see a difference with this..

i'll take some pictures tomorrow with the filter...

Noob- Be Gentle
Polarizer is used to eliminate reflections and boost blue. It works best when you're perpendicular to the sun. I had one, never used, and don't get the fuss. It works but not worth the $100 for a decent filter.

Tiffen makes sets of filters.
