Chuong's 800whp EG Hatch:

Chuong bought this wicked hatch last year and has gone crazy making a stupid fast car more stupid and more fast. He has been updating us with threads about his build and progress, but now a full mod list and a handful of photos paint the entire picture.

For those that do not know, Chuong is the madman down at Revline Motorsports. He is known for making some seriously fast Honda's and this car is no different.

Apart from the wide tires and the huge intercooler, this car appears rather mild. Everything on the body is stock, even down to the Honda wheels.

Utilizing a 1.8L LS/VTEC setup, a huge 72mm Borg Warner turbo, and two 44mm Tial wastegates, this thing is far from tame.

Im sure he wants somewhere around 700+ he is trying to hit 9s on a car that can still be ran in the street class but we will see what he really needs.its going in the green hatch from featured rides on the revline link in the sig. And i too am curious to see when it will spool lol he says its supposedly only gona spool about 1k solwer that my 60-1 but like i said we will see. its gonna be pimp8)
wonder if i could talk him into letting me drive it on the DYNO:D

if im there when he dynos it i will make him get it on vid. but it still has a little ways to go. the pic was just of the test fit for turbo clearence:shock:

the drag suspension on the car would be no good for turns with onl 100hp frickin 18k bounce like woah

He has not decided yet but he will probably make a 3in first and go bigger if he needs to.

I wouldn't even start with a 3" downpipe. That is too small for 700hp. What turbo does he have?

im not sure if he wil even be starting going for 700. but i think he can pull 700 with a 3 and that set up. but if not at least high 6s we have had a few cars with smaller turbos and just ram horn turbos make mid to low 6.
its supposed to be the GT42r killer from borg warner(s372) on i believe a full race (not sure of brand) dual 44mm WG top mount
