:rolf: I don't care much for them either, the "Hero motors" headlight just makes it look like garbage.
Idk why they didn't keep the headlight setup from the 1190RS... I'd take a fake 999 over some Indian looking s*** :lol:
And unless HD still owns the patent on the underslung exhaust after shutting down Buell, the side exhaust on the 1190's doesn't make much sense either.
Really though, I just like seeing Erik Buell's name kept alive on bikes. I was probably 4 years old at the time and seen an S1 for the first time. It looked different than every other bike I'd seen and the name just stuck with me. Then probably around the time I started High School, I started noticing the XB's more, which lead to learning about all the innovations and s*** he patented for the old Buells.
So yeah, that's why I like hearing it's coming back :lol:

Got some s*** done today.
Rear pegs on... Turns out the front pegs that were on there were actually rear pegs, so I'll have to order a new set of those :smackself:
Seat tie down kit by American Sportbike
New vs old triple tree emblem
Old levers
New levers, frame pucks and 04+ mirrors on.
Cleaned up with Meguiars PlastX then Mothers' Showtime California Gold spray wax. (Forgot I didn't have any wheel cleaner, so they're still filthy :lol: )
Turtle Wax trim restore on the headlight bezels, turn signal stalks and fuse boxes.
And just for the hell of it :lol:

Just sold my 06 1000rr for $800, someone actually finally came through with the deal. He loaded it up and was like it'll be together next week I just wanted a track bike lol
