All of the the Japanese ones really, Ducati & Aprilia are the pricey ones.

Honda definitely makes the most solid ones though even if they aren't always the fastest.

Why exactly does a starter bike need to be newer than 2010? That's just going to cost more, both purchase price and parts.

Buy something older and cheap, that way you wont care if you end up laying it down or breaking everything on it...

Not always true, Unless you buy brand new you might end up with some rich kids bike that's on the verge of blowing up without you knowing it

The RC is still said to be one of the most reliable bikes today, Honda makes tough bikes.

Do not be an idiot. Start off on a slower bike that isn't newish. I garuantee you will drop it and/or scratch or dent.

The reason you want to start off on an older (like 2000 to 2007 imo would be good) is because you won't have to worry about fucking the bike up, which will help out a lot when you do.

If you want to get a newer bike I would really recommend the new 300 like Kurt said. Ive heard a lot of good things about them.

As far as brand. Id stick with suzuki, honda, yamaha, or kawasaki. Just don't buy a Harley :lol:.

What all do you "know" about high power bikes?

My dream bike is the bike I own. An 06 gsxr 750. You don't need a 1k, it's a LOT of bike..

Also insurance rates will be through the roof if you start with a supersport. R6's ands R1's having the highest rates.

I would stick with a ninja 250 or 300. The 250 is still cool and gets 70mpg!
