umm if you have a laptop you cant just use any monitor hahaha...but i can search for some monitors that we use here..and give you recommendations

Dell Monitor S2340L

those are the ones we use...were looking to upgrade to the ultra sharp...when these goes bad...but these are quite bright and very well lit for the true color...

its an HP g series..more or less just a laptop for someone who wants a laptop

lol...i wouldnt get a new laptop just to replace the monitor in it....i believe you can hook up your monitor to your laptop in general..but i would advise that u should never spend more than 400 dollars on a monitor unless you plan on watching movies.. from far away...

I hate dell computers but they have great displays...so i would never buy a dell computer to replace the ones we have here besides customized ones are the way to go...:)

gotcha, well i wouldn't mind upgrading my monitor.. my husband gets a dell discount so maybe i can get something decent priced.. the one you showed me looks like from dell is 190 so maybe i can get it for something a little less than that.

bugs me that i've been looking at a crap monitor..

not all monitors are crap...it just depends on your taste...same with photos...some people l.ike the true color photos some people like the edit ones...Samsung could be someones dream of quality while the others could be the crappiest ones...but do some testing where your husband sells monitors...thats only the one we use but im sure there are better ones.

I was even impressed that the dell was putting out a better display than the samsung and we paid 200 dollars more for it...lol than the dell itself..

rachel our head designer reccommends this one...this is the one the company bought for his setup

He said it will help alot in back lighting and is better than the one i suggested if you can afford it...

Dell UltraSharp 24 Premiere Color Monitor U2413...Price 599.00 he says price is a little steep but if ur lookign to make some money off your photos its well worth the investment.. it even comes with 2 usb ports in the side as well as card reader for easy access of photos.
